20-year anniversary celebrations
We were delighted to hold a celebration party in the grounds of Sudeley Castle to mark 20 years since the business's foundation. It was a chance to thank all our staff alongside a large number of our partners and sub-contractors for helping us get to where we are today.
In 2022 we celebrated our 20-year anniversary. From humble beginnings providing 24/7 maintenance to Hartpury College, we now specialise in domestic bespoke building projects and commercial operations.
It all began when AMPM was founded by Daniel Heaton, with his father, 'Snowy' Heaton, while Daniel was still at university. Daniel became Managing Director when Snowy stepped down from the business a few years ago, with Jamie Barnfield joining the company as Development Director. Our annual turnover continues to grow, exceeding £5 million per annum, and we employ 40 skilled operatives, alongside more than 50 regular associated subcontractors.
We’re proud of the fact that we have grown as a company and evolved to meet our clients' needs. We undertake many listed building refurbishment and regeneration projects, as well as various key turn solutions and high-end extensions throughout the Cotswolds.
Our projects are getting bigger and bigger year on year. Historically, we might have built a £50k extension, now we're building £3 million houses. Which goes to show how we've become experts in our field. It's only by building to the highest specification that you also build your reputation.
On the commercial side, we’ve built an enviable list of big-name clients in Gloucestershire including Sudeley Castle, Cheltenham Racecourse, Hartpury College, Lilian Faithfull, East Glos Club, CBC and the Guiting Power Trust.
As a reflection of the relationship we enjoy with the team at Sudeley, we were honoured to be able to hold our 20-year anniversary party in the grounds. Which coincided with the unveiling of the AMPM-sponsored Birdsong Garden, in association with the Coexistence Exhibition at Sudeley Castle.
Our offices are now located at The Site Cheltenham, in a bespoke unit that we built during lockdown. The Site is now home to a collective of businesses within the construction industry including architects, planners and property professionals. It means clients get the very best support all the way through the construction process.
